Signature Rules
Acceptable signature sizes are 400x100 and no bigger than 100k, and/or 200 pixels worth of text (usually 2 or 3 lines). Your signature will be removed if you violate this rule! This is not rocket surgery, and no we will not increase the limits just because you have some signature that you like. Huge sigs make a forum ugly, people are here to read about our network sites, not look at your 100 different user bars. Want more than one signature? Go to MyPHPsig and sign up for a rotating signature.

The only place where it is acceptable to post "signature testing" posts is in the MyPHPsig Signature Testing board. Posting a testing thread outside of that board may result in a warning or a ban.

Links to Drugwar/Outwar/Free iPods/etc, pretty much anything that requires people to click on a link are not allowed. First offense is a warning, second offense is a ban! Again this doesn't take a genius to figure out, use common sense!

Posting Rules
Do not post in ancient threads. If a thread is months old, just start a new one.

Don't post links to illegal files (warez, etc.). We aren't a piracy forum, so we won't for stand it. If you are looking to acquire some software, take it to PM please.

Don't ask where to find illegal files. If you don't know how to get your hands on something, you shouldn't be asking for it in the first place.

We have done our best to try and stop spambots, but we're not perfect. If you see a bot thread (links to sex tapes, sex sites, etc), REPORT IT! Click the Report Post icon and a moderator will be notified. Also, DO NOT RESPOND TO SPAM THREADS! You will be given a warning for doing so!

Speaking of Post Reports, if you feel someone has violated a forum rule or is being out of line, click the Post Report button (once!) and it will be flagged for the moderators. If you want to send a message to us, you can do so by following the links. Abuse of this feature will get you a warning!

Speaking of warnings, we are on a strict "3 strikes you're out" policy here. If you get a warning, you will receive an automatic PM from the moderator who warned you with some information about why you were given it.

ThinkingWithPortals.com Forum Rules
Before asking a question, use the search features first! If it isn't there, look in the Wiki! Most likely, we've already answered your question and someone has posted it somewhere. If you still can't find an answer to you question, then feel free to post it.

The Community Releases board are restricted posting only, meaning you cannot create a post there but you can reply. If you have something you want moved there, post it in the Maps and Mapping board with [RELEASE] or in the title, and one of the moderators will move it to the proper location.
