Hi!
This summer holidays, I will try to release new maps, called GLaMS-DOS.
Logic Portals lacked narration, and occasions to give the player hints. Here, in GLaMS-DOS, GLaMS-DOS himself will make you aware of the inportant points of the level, sometimes in a very subtile way, if not clearly.

So I have two choices and I'm thinking about it:
-Leave Logic Portal without a end, and hyper unbalanced.
-Port Logic Portals levels into GLaMS-DOS, from the start, at different times, so that the design and the new gameplay elements will fit.
Though, the last room of Logic Portals 04 (the hot atmosphere level) won't be ported in my opinion, the four first ones are worth the try.

Here are two screens:

Here is an example of the level 01 (the very first level is level 00). It introduces the Cube Floater and the Ice Cube.

Feel free to comment.

i say scrap it and start fresh, of coarse use as much of it as you feel is needed. and if you can find a place for some of the logic portals in your series of maps then by all means go for it. but i figure you're flow will be better if you just make maps as you see fit instead of trying to jam some of your "older" (albeit good) stuff into this and end up having something seem outta place

rellik, your posts are becoming increasingly abstract and hard to understand.

Good job.

Yeah I need to find the right texlight balance here...

About GLaMS-DOS, I want to stick with the name and the voice, but I need to find a scenario, the current one doesn't fit well for me.

Thanks for your comments, I think it's a bit early to reveal more than that.

Softer? I don't know, the entire room is brightened with a light_spot, and some texlights.

I did some thinkings about the lights, and I tool the risk to put a very small lightmap scale over the steps here to do a contrast. I still have to think about it.

Note: In my opinion, my level "architectural" quality is not that nice.
