I'll admit that it does look a bit like some hospital equipment right now
but that will be fixed. (Darker colour and more rust and dirt, mostly.)
Did you made this machine with brushwork or custom model?

It's a custom model. (It's a bit more work than making the same thing out of brushes, but you can make much more detailed designs.

I thought it was about time I prove I've been working on something. Several of these images are a bit out-dated, I'm still experimenting with lighting and details, and there aren't any indicators because they would get all messed up when I need to edit the brushes. Click the links for the Steam screenshots.

My next map-pack consists of laser puzzles that deal more with cube physics and logic, rather than finding the right set-up.

I like the warm yellow light. Although it would be nice if it actually had a visible source, instead of just a point in space emitting light, which I see in some images, especially 1 and 2.
The way you built the walls out of differently sized tiles looks nice too. Especially the dark ones, since there's some colour variety as well.

Thanks for reminding me, I keep meaning to go back and make 1 look nicer. A few images like 2 have off-screen light sources, but I do still need to add some in that far wall, for example.
Thank you, that's what I was going for, so I hope it paid off.

help
I don't know where I go to get an answer to this. Sorry if its off topic but me and my friend want to play Portal 2 custom maps. I have a PC and he has MAC. Can anyone tell me if this is possible. We both have the map files, but when I type the map in the console it just shuts the lobby down and kicks my friend. Anybody help?

For future reference, go here next time for something like this. But since you're already here, whoever is playing as blue should type changelevel and then the map name in the developer console to play custom maps in co-op. Using the map command in co-op closes the server. Provided that both you and your partner have the map installed in the correct directories, a PC user can play custom maps with a Mac user.
Try out Twin Pillars, a Portal 2 map by BOB74j.

Here's an updated version of a map I posted earlier:

I also have a question- I have an sp_lightboard_icons.txt in my mod (This is in Portal 2 so the level sign doesn't show the correct icons) but I can't get the level sign to light up. It just stays at that sort of grey color. What can I do to fix this?

Actually, it's not Wheatley broken test chambers, it's actually for parts later in my mod. I wanted to start out with some mostly pristine chambers, and as the player progresses further the chambers start to open up. Here's an example of an early chamber:

Behold! The MEGACUBE OF ROTATING DOOM!
Okay, seriously, I'm making a map with a giant floating cube in the middle that the player must open using weighted cubes on cube_buttons.
Edit: BTW Beecake, I saw your video and I couldn't stop laughing after seeing "You got problems... MONSTER!"
