Really fun map, thank you.
I got a little stuck getting the second block, but worked it out eventually.

So, I got stuck on the floor of the fizzler room with the fizzler at eye level. I guess you didn't intend for us to build a pile of turrets and jump over? Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

I spent 20 minutes trying to solve the room after you get the WCC only to realise that another two cubes had come out.

that is why I created my own scene to inform the player that something is "wrong", but, sadly, the game doesn't support bspzipped scene files atm Rolling Eyes

I am receiving this message too, I have no idea why it is there Idea

They turrets ask the game (quite nicely, I might add,) for a particle system that does not exist. There IS an input to the turrets to make them blow up into ugly little gibs, and this error will appear on any level with turrets. Valves fault, don't sweat it.

Hi,

I found a bug. The cube, camera and The Supercolliding Superbutton go infront of the texture. Embarassed

Also, upside down camera?

awwww... the bug with the see-through texture was fixed once. I thought it was because of nodrawing some brush sides touching the see-through brush, but then I fixed it and the problem was gone... now I see that I used the wrong texture, thanx for the hint... the bug seems to be random, as when I tested it before final release, everyhting worked fine Confused
Also, the upside-down camera is not a bug, it's a feature Very Happy I wanted to have concrete walls because I like them more, and I wanted the cameras not to be detachable by the player; they are supposed to open the door on the other side of the chamber. So I made a metal ceiling and attached the cameras to it Wink

omg...I'm having some trouble in the room with 4 turrets and the big fizzler in the middle....I just can't get that damn box...I just thought you could place a portal at that platform the box hits when it falls...but you can't...although the surface looks like you could...is that just a bug or is there another solution that I simply missed to see?

oh and pls don't tell me the solution...just answer my question pls ^^

you can't place the portal on this particular metal surface, even if it looks like a concrete one (that would be too easy Very Happy), but it is hard to give you a hint without spoiling the puzzle for you Very Happy
well, what I can say now, is that you keep trying, you should be able to do something in no more than 10 pushes of the button Wink
(I won't tell you what to do, you don't want to know) Cool

i couldn't find a solution, but this is how i think you have to do it, i just couldn't

You press the button then grab the cube before the platform throws it into the grid, and then throw the cube into the hole where you can go in (I just couldn't manage to throw it Sad)

I wouldn't mind knowing, because it is really annoying me, just put it in spoilers so people can see it if they want to.

When you get tho the part where you use buttons to rotate the platforms to get the ball in the catcher, the ball just bounces off the portals after it has been moved. Also, not letting me put portals on some portable surfaces bugged me.

@ultradude

Try walking with the cube... I assume you tried to throw it, but that'd be too simple

Hope this helps...

I love the map. It's made me do some really interesting and original things (like the above mentioned cube puzzle, for one example). And having played dozens of other custom maps, that's saying something.

I did want to point out a couple of bugs I noticed: I also noticed that the energy ball bounces off of portals that are placed on the angled surfaces. True, I might have been able to come up with a "ninja" solution to that room if it worked, but it was a little odd. All I was actually trying to do at the time was fling the ball at the turret. If you wanted to keep the angled panels off limits for portals, you would be better off making them metal. Speaking of which, I found the checkered metal texture to be confusing as well, sorry - I didn't notice the difference between it and the normal concrete and it just seemed like a mistake. In the room with the acid pit and the fizzler wall, I could consistently get trapped by placing a portal on the wall below me and then walking into the area above it. I suddenly find I can't move or even create new portals anywhere. It was pretty strange. I attached a screengrab to better explain what I'm talking about.

At the moment, I'm still stuck in that room, actually - I've tried flinging myself from a number of different locations, but none seem to be positioned right to get me across the gap.

Well, the energy ball puzzle has bugs because the ball bounces in weird angles, I don't know why (I also mentioned it in readme, as a known bug). About that checkerboard texture - I had two beta testers and noone found it confusing... probably the map needed more betatesting.

I recognize the room. But do you mean "stuck" as "stuck", or are you just unable to find a solution? If the latter is the case, send me a PM, I will provide you with a solution if you like.
Thank you for your feedback, it's appreciated.

I saw that in the readme and was watching out for it - I did notice the ball doing a couple of odd bounces but didn't worry too much about it as it's clearly already known. I thought that the way it bounces directly off of portals instead of passing through them might have been a separate issue.

I meant stuck as in frozen, as in I cannot move at all, the portal gun fails to work and I am forced to reload. I would have chalked that up to a random glitch, but I seem to be able to replicate it in that area.

I am also stuck in that room as a separate issue, so I will PM you for a hint.
