I was too lazy to read all the previous. Sorry.

And:

That doesn't mean he is not involved, just because you don't see him. Maybe he's the rat man!. Of course, that's very unlikely, but you should get my point :p

You just simply bolded another sentence, so I was like "No. Not even unlikely, but he simply isn't." That's why I give :| too.

If you insist on G-Man must be carrying around the WCC if he's the rat man, You never know what's in his briefcase :D

<3 = <3

And for the briefcase part, I can quote the Half-Life Saga Story Guide:

Half-Life Saga Story Guide wrote:
What's in G-Man's suitcase? No idea. My best guess is that in order to portray himself as a respectable "human" he chose to imitate a businessman. In which case the briefcase is simply a prop.

EDIT: OK, changing the subject:

The mysterious Aperture Science employees. Are they even alive in the events of Portal?

GLaDOS claimed to have killed all of them. I'd say probably not. But who knows, GLaDOS could be lying.

Well, we already proved at part where she says she did so, she was completely sarcastic. The quote even is in the "sarcasm self-sphere test" part. :D

If you put your head through a portal on a wall, and the other portal is on the ceiling, will gravity be applied to your head and not the rest of the body? And will the force be able to pull the rest of your body through, or will it pull your head off? (As gravity is just as strong on both sides i could imagine your head being pulled off) Or will it do nothing? Or will it do something else? What will happen?

I think it would pull on your head, but I doubt it would pull your head off(your head doesn't pop off when you do a handstand). Plus, I think you'll only be pulled through when the amount of mass on the ceiling side is greater than the mass on the wall side.

So nothing will happen?

Well, when you stick your head through the portal, you'll feel the gravity--your hair will fall away from your head, etc... It's just that the force won't be great enough to forcefully remove your skull from your spine. Plus, as you go further from the portal, the feeling of gravity will affect more and more of your body. When exactly half of your body is through the portal (masswise, not heightwise), you're technically floating if the portals are on the same ceiling or floor. If one is on a wall, it'll be a bit more complicated. As soon as you go any further through the portal, however, since there's more material being affected by the other gravity, it'll pull the rest of you through (unless friction or other forces are at work).
At least, that's what my hypothesis is.

I have another speculation with portals.

Could portals possibly be used to create perpetual motion? (E.g. something like this:)

I have a feeling that creating a perpetual motion machine might be easier than creating portals.
